A short UI-based walkthrough: what to click and in what order.

Step-by-step flow

1. Join tournament and pass check-in

  1. On the tournament page, click Join/Participate.
  2. Confirm your nickname appears in the participant list.
  3. Before start, click check-in and wait for confirmation status.
  4. If you miss check-in, you can be removed from the bracket.

2. Open your match and verify data

  1. After round start, click Open Match from the tournament/match card.
  2. On the match page, verify lobby name, password, and server first.
  3. Do not start the game until both players confirm these values.

3. Create lobby and set match settings

  1. Open Dota 2 -> Play -> Lobby -> Create Lobby.
  2. Copy name/password/server exactly from the match page fields.
  3. Verify required settings (mode, cheats, spectators) before inviting opponent.

4. Submit result after game ends

  1. Return to the match page and click Submit Result.
  2. Select the winner in the result form and confirm.
  3. Check that match status changes to result submitted.

5. Confirm result as second player

  1. If opponent submitted first, open the same match page.
  2. Click Confirm Result if everything is correct.
  3. After confirmation, the match is finalized.

6. Dispute, AFK, and lobby mismatch

  1. If submitted result is wrong, do not confirm it: click Open Dispute.
  2. If opponent is AFK, message in match chat first, then send AFK report.
  3. If lobby name/password/server differs, do not start game: refresh match page and report mismatch.

7. How timers work

  1. Use the match timer on match page as your main deadline.
  2. After result submission, a separate confirmation timer starts.
  3. If no confirmation and no dispute, result is auto-confirmed by the system.
